Concealed Carry Class in Colorado

Taking a concealed carry class in Colorado is a little bit interesting, because until a few months ago, you could take an online course to fulfill your requirements.

Please be aware that you can no longer do this. You must take training where you can be face to face with the instructor. We have provided you with some information about your class and training requirements below so that you can accurately make a decision about your training.

After you know the rules and requirements, book training as soon as you can and go about it seriously.

Training Required? Yes, you must prove competence with a handgun.

Type of Training Accepted: Any handgun training class within 10 years of your application.

Proof of honorable discharge from the US Armed Forces within 3 years of your application.

Proof of honorable discharge from the US Armed Forces that reflects pistol qualifications obtained within 10 years of your application.

Certificate showing retirement from Colorado Law Enforcement that reflects pistol qualifications obtained within 10 years of your application.

Proven experience with a firearm through participation in organized shooting competitions or current military service.

Length of Training: 1.5-8 hours

Cost of Training: $49.99-$155 (prices vary, but this is a rough outline)
