Type of Training Accepted: Any state hunter education program or similar program that is established by another state, country or province recognized by the department of natural resources.
An unrevoked concealed carry license from another state or jurisdiction. You must verify that it is not revoked but the license may be current or expired.
Proof of military, law enforcement or security firearms training.
A Department of Justice safety course certificate.
Any firearm safety or training class taught by a state certified or law enforcement agency.
Length of Training: No time requirement but usually 3-4 hrs.
Cost of Training: $80-150 (prices vary, but this is a rough outline)

Wisconsin honors or recognizes the following states’ concealed carry permits
|New York||North Carolina||North Dakota||Pennsylvania|
Note: *Wisconsin will not honor the Virginia Resident Permit/License, only their non resident Permit/License.
**Wisconsin will only honor West Virginia permits issued after 6/8/12.
***Wisconsin will only honor Alaskan permits issued after 1/14/13.
